The twins had their pre school christmas program They sang songs and did the nativity. They played the part of the wisemen. It was really cute to watch.

Christmas was fun this year. We slept at my parents on christmas eve. They kids all got what they wanted.....well minus Kenya. She wanted a "Big"baby doll and when santa bought her a small one she had a breakdown! woops!! after a while she was ok with her baby doll but eekkk its rough being santa!

The boys have started flag football and have been having a blast. They have both scored touchdowns and seem to have a knack for football.

Last night malakai tackled a kid with the ball.....oops sent the boy out crying. We had to remind kai its just "flag football!"

Kenya went to Desert Hills cheer clinic. Wayne coaches football for Dixie High school and they were playing
D.Hills the night of the performance. (also my little sis goes to D.Hills and some of her friends are cheerleaders there.) so after hearing about it Kenya was all for it and she was adorable. I don't plan on being a cheer mom in the future........hoping Kenya will do sports, but we will see. so far she is set on dancing and cheering!

We feel very blessed to have another baby join our family! I am due March 17, (St. Patrick's Day, and also my sisters Krystal's youngest babies birthday) but this babe is measuring about a week ahead already. We are very excited, especially Kenya who tells everyone and asks to hold the baby daily!

eeek!! I am way behind......but what else is new! 4th of July we were up in Orem. My poor camera is officially broken and has a seizure every time i turn it on, like it literally shakes. so I had to resort to sharing a camera with my mom and Kimmy. So now my pictures are all over and I am now finding time to find them and put them on here.

We had all my moms side of the family up there and we had a blast from Friday to Monday!

Waynes team the Dixie Rebels went undefeated and won the Championship! Wayne couldn't play in the first 5 games because of the kidney cancer and surgery. but 2months after he had another CT scan that showed his kidney was all healed up and the Dr. gave him the Go ahead to play! He Rocked it! you would have never known he had just been through 2 major surgeries in the last 4 months and had cancer on top of it all! He is AMAZING!

July 5th Kenya turned 3! what a fun little girl she is to have around. If she is not being a mini Mother she is being rough and wrestling with her brothers. its a great combination i think. A little tom-boy and a little girly!

Aug 2. was the boys birthday. They turned 5! crazy crazy! They are best buddies and I am so thankful to have them in my life. They will start their 2nd year of pre-school next week. They Love sports and are little jokesters!

Our good friend Ben Braten took these pictures of the kids. Ben is so darn talented at what he does. He took Wayne and I's engagement pictures and did awesome. somehow i knew he would do the same with these 4 crazies!! 3 out 4 did great......Jayda not so much. but they definitely capture my kids at these ages! They are my life and I love them "to Infinity and beyond" as my boys would say!

Kenya was pretty sad when she found out it was Fathers and Sons and that she couldn't go. (come to find out there were some girls that went, so wayne said he would take her next year) anyways the boys told Kenya that she could go to Daughters and Moms!

T BALL

The boys started Tball a few weeks ago. It is pretty funny to watch all these kids swarm the ball once it is hit. there was one boy on the other team, that hit the ball and took off down to 3rd base with the bat in hand!

It is really fun to see them out there together. They love it and are pretty good at it. Before they get up to bat they both will hit the bat on the ground a couple times. guess its good luck! :)

Pre school graduation

The boys have completed their 1st year of pre-school! They have learned a lot and had fun. The biggest problem or them is that they are well how do i put this very ENERGETIC! and with two of them its double trouble! They will start to wrestle during class and things like that. so we are trying to work on things we do at home vs things we do at school!

They will turn 5 in Aug. yikes! 5 year olds already. and they could start kindergarten this year but we decided to keep them back a year. I have heard boys do better when they are one of the older ones. and also we are hoping it will help with sports :) to be the oldest of the bunch instead of the youngest!

I found a great pre-school for them this year called Katys laugh and learn pre school. she takes them on field trips and has them writing sentences and the kindergarten sight words. I think it will be perfect for them.....................if they will stop the boxing and wrestling :) lol they actually did great these last couple months so hopefully they are starting to get it!

we are lucky enough to be in my grandma and grandpa Esplins ward! My kids are spoiled by them too much! They ADORE these two people as do Wayne and I!

so as most of you know Wayne had his surgery Wed March, 9th. The Dr. was able to save 3/4 of his kidney!!! That was the Best news. I will never forget when i was able to share with Wayne the great news after he was out of recovery. They were wheeling him into his room on his bed and the nurse had to move the previous bed that was in there so Wayne was in the hallway waiting. I went next to his side and said "did you hear the good news?" and he said no, so i said "They saved it hun!!" They saved 3/4 of your kidney!! Wayne laid there tears streamed down his face. it was a very special moment i will never forget. After everything he has been through especially having 2 different surgery's only 7 weeks apart this was the best outcome we could have hoped for.

here is a picture of the 26 staples that sealed the incision. It is about 12 inches long. For the most part he has had a great recovery especially considering its a MAJOR one. I know he gets frustrated having to be "down and out" because Wayne is a go-getter! He says sitting around all day makes him feel lazy! We all have to remind him his body has been put through A LOT! Over the past few months Wayne has had some powerful priesthood blessings. Its been a great experience to be able to witness them and to know Heavenly father knows exactly how we are feeling and what we needed at this time in our lives. Wayne and I are closer than we ever thought possible. We know we couldn't have done this without each other, our families, our friends, all the prayers said in our behalf and our faith.

I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for everything. The dinners, the calls, the flowers, the messages, the sweet thoughts and prayers. It really lifted us up. Wayne had 3 of his buddies from up north drive down and hang out while he was in the hospital. It was a huge surprise to us and definitely inspired!

The pathology reports did confirm it was Renal Cell Carcinoma. In a way it still doesn't seem real that Wayne had cancer. I don't like to really think about it but when i do i get sick to my stomach. I can only think about the what ifs. what if we never found this when we did, what if we found it and it was to late. the way it was growing was too fast. I don't think we would have had much time if it had already spread. Wayne will have to have ct scans and tests every few months to check and make sure its gone. They did get clear margins which means there was no signs of cancer still left. We again feel very very blessed and know for a fact that Wayne has much more to do in this life. He is Great and will do GREAT things in the future. I am sure of it!

Back in July, well more towards the end of July Wayne was having some side pains. He couldn't really sit down without having pains. He is not one to go to the Dr. so it took him about 2 weeks to finally give in and go. The Dr ran all theses tests and thought maybe it was appendicitis. He had him go get a CT scan and the results came back that he had bilateral inguinal hernias. (one on each side) that would need surgery, and also a cyst on his kidney. He said its probable nothing but to have and ultrasound in 6 weeks. Well Wayne was busy with school, work and coaching and was putting off the surgery and ultrasound. finally after finals in Dec. we decided he should get surgery and to make an appointment for his ultrasound. They did the ultrasound first week in Jan and he had surgery Jan 17. It took them about 3 1/2 hours. they told me 45 min on each side. as you can see it took way longer than expected. Waynes hernias were some of the biggest they have seen! I have pic of it the Dr. took. It might gross some of you out so if you would like to see it i will email you a pic or text a pic of it. to be honest its kind of crazy how ginourmous it was. A few days after surgery the Dr called to say that they thought he had a right renal lesion. to which Wayne responded...........Is that bad? they said again probably not and to come in when he was feeling better to discuss options with the Dr. meanwhile he got a fever and we went to the e.r. because i was thinking infection in he incisions. well they did another ultrasound and again that darn cyst/renal lesion still there. This e.r visit was a tender mercy in the long run because they could compare it to his last one. they found out it grew 1cm in 5 months. they said that was very "fast" and "suspicious". not words you want to hear. well Feb 9 2011 comes rolling around and the dr. calls wayne and says he has had 3 specialist look at his ct scans and they all said the same thing. Cancer. gag i hate that word. after a little break down on my part i felt at peace. i felt that everything was going to be ok. In waynes patriarchal blessing it said that he would have health challenges. something that i have always wondered but hoped it was meaning his 2 knee surgery's he has had, or his broken leg, or his popped calf or something other than the "C" word. it goes on to say that if he remains faithful to his covenants he has made, obeyed the word of wisdom, and obeyed the commandments that he would be PRESERVED! music to our ears!! If we have faith and live as righteously as we can, then the lord will make up the difference. even though Wayne will have to go through this very intense surgery, will most likely loose one whole kidney, will loose some of his rib bones. have a huge 12 inch scar, have to withdrawal from school (which this was his last semester til he graduates )and probably will not be able to play the one sport he loves ever again it will be Okay. He will be preserved. I have faith in that. I don't know why we have the trials we do in this life. but i am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. we might not know what the reason is for having to deal with this right now, or even 10 years from now but i know we will look back on this and thank the man upstairs for putting this trial in our lives. We have grown A LOT over the last year. more than i have probably in my life. and i am so thankful for the Tender mercies of the lord. 60 % of people don't find out they have kidney cancer til its too late. the symptoms don't show up til its too late. 40% of people find out through another problem. That would be Wayne, if he would have never had this hernia problem we would have never known. did i mention the Dr's think he had, had the hernias since he was a little boy? crazy that just now it would hurt him enough to go get it checked out...........tender mercy? I think so. Thank you all for all the love and support. It lifts us up at our lowest points. We love you all!

These few pictures were taken on my phone but i loved them so i had to post them. here the boys are with their football pads and their cheerleader Kenya. don't you love the look on her face!! such a proud sister!!
we had family home evening on being a missionary since my little brother jonny is on a mission right now in Argentina. I printed out these future missionary tags and they loved wearing them around.

We went up to waynes parents house last weekend. It was their 50th wedding anniversary. they had a big ol party................Polynesian style. we cooked all day and night for about 300 people. It was a lot of fun but we were all exhausted!
I took this today. this is at my parents house. Jayda loves little seats that are her height and this little rock wall my dad has is her favorite spot to go and sit. of course she has a doll right along with her. she is a great mommy! speaking of Jayda she is talking a lot. copying what we say all the time. She is such a love able little thing.

as for Wayne the plan is to have surgery on March 2. the tumor is about 3.7cm, which is small to the Dr's. There might be a chance they could remove half the kidney, but they don't know exactly till they get in there. they don't think it has spread which is a huge blessing. They will have to remove a part of his bottom right rib to get to the kidney. they said he doesn't really need it :/ OUCH! anyways even though these last few weeks have been tough, we have seen alot of blessings and are very blessed to have caught it early enough. My next post i want to talk all about how we found it.......BIG TENDER MERCIES!

NUMB,SHOCK, SAD, HOPEFUL, FAITHFUL

Just some of the things i am feeling right now. Yesterday The Dr's. confirmed what we didn't want to hear. Wayne has Kidney Cancer. What? How? He is only 28? I'm still asking myself this. I have dealt with 2 grandparents die from cancer, another grandma who has had it and my mom fought cancer..................why couldn't our family be done? That is when our FAITH comes in. even though i don't know the outcome of what will happen, i am HOPEFUL for the best outcome. I hate cancer, i hate everything about it. But i do know it can change peoples lives and change it for the better! right now we know that Wayne will have to give up his kidney. probably in the next week or so. Thank goodness he has two. So now begins our Battle our Battle to overcome what has been placed before us and come out better people than we are now! I love Wayne with all my heart! I will be right by his side through all of this as he would be for me.

Thank you all for the love and support. We definitely need it now more than ever. Our kids don't have any idea what is going on and i really don't know if they would understand. They had a hard time when Wayne had his hernia surgery's so I'm praying for them to be able to deal with what is ahead. I am hoping to write more of the story on how we discovered all this but im a little emotional right now. I hope to update this and share some spiritual things. but may go private for when i share that info. anyways my thoughts are all over but thought i would update this thing.

LAS VEGAS

Wayne and I decided to take just the boys down to las vegas overnight. Thanks to my sister Heather she gave us a FREE hotel room at the Hilton. The boys really wanted to go to the M&M factory. ever since they were born we have said they are our M&M boys. and even have some M&M things around the house.

We ate at the Cheesecake factory..............yum....................... our favorite and it was actually really nice to just be with Maddux and Malakai. They are 4 years old and full of it. "It" as in full of energy, full of jokes, full of messes, full of trouble making and full of JOY! What one doesn't think of the other SURE will! Love them!

A year ago today Jayda Karen Alofipo made her way into this world. She must have wanted to get here quick coming a week early and at 7:51 pm on Nov. 29. 51 min after we arrived at the hospital. (no epidural..................OUCH!!) luckily she was only 7Lbs 12 oz. she was beautiful, she didn't have a squished face, or cone head but she was just perfect. and has been a perfect baby ever since. Look at those big brown eyes. everyone will comment on those eyes and how they tell you a story if you look into them. We are so grateful for this little girl. especially after her falling accident and getting a skull fracture. we are so glad she is here and healthy. Friday after Thanksgiving all of our family was down in Las vegas. and by all of us I mean 48 of us! all my moms side of the family. We decided to do Jaydas party down there. Polynesians go all out on their kids 1st birthdays. so we rented a big bounce house with a slide to keep all the kids busy...........and busy it kept them!my cake was well...................not so pretty but tasted yummy!
the pinata and i had to put some of these funny pictures of the kids on the bounce house. sometimes kids would get squished at the bottom and start crying like you see above, kenya and kyla! lol

My kids Love to ride horses. We are lucky enough to have a family corral here in st.George where we have horses,cows, and on occasion other animals like the pigs we raise. anyway the kids get spoiled by grandpa dale when he takes them out there.

Not only do they get to ride horses but its a fun place to explore. there are "treasures to find", haystacks to climb, the fake bull to ride. a kids dream really. It was a beautiful fall day and we can't help but feel blessed to live where we do. this town, here next to family, and friends. It couldn't be better!

now that Jayda is walking she goes just about anywhere she wants. My dad has these railroad ties that he is putting in all over his yard. (Big thanks to pam for giving them to us for FREE!!) anyways Jayda has been obsessed with sitting on little seats. like the bottom step of our stairs,or our little spider man couch. Well she has now found these railroad ties and makes her way to them every time we are at my parents house. Yesterday she had her baby Nina we named her after Argentina where my little brother is on his mission. Kenya has a doll named Tina so we went with Nina for Jaydas! anyways i thought these were cute of her. It amazes me that these little girls already have a motherly instinct in them. Maybe you out there with little girls have noticed the same things. I love being able to watch my girls pretending to be mommies at such a young age.

we went up to salt lake this past weekend to visit all of Waynes family. His dad hasn't been doing to good health wise so we thought we would take advantage of the semester break and go up.

our good friends Anthony and Gina invited us to their wards trunk or treat. The kids loved to be in their costumes. Kenya is super girl, Maddux wolverine, Malakai power ranger, and baby Jayda a green M&M. I will get better pictures on Halloween but thought i would post these fun pics of them enjoying an early trick or treat. We had a great time up in the 801. the kids had fun playing with their Alofipo cousins, and always get spoiled by grandma and grandpa.

The boys started soccer this month. They do really good and score most of the teams goals. They always loved going to uncle Jonnys soccer games and going out on the field at half time to kick the ball around, so we credit their success to Jonny. Ha

Jayda is 10 months old. walking and saying mama dada and uhhhhh--o. she still has a little dent in the side of her head, but nothing like it was when she fell. no teeth yet but i think her bottom one is almost cutting through. still is a sweet good baby!

we went to the Rodeo and the kids had fun. Wayne stayed home and put Jayda to bed so we could actually watch and not have to be up walking around with her. They look forward to the rodeo every year.

Sunday July 25 we were going to the car to go to church. I had a lot of stuff in my hands so i used Jayda's car seat to hold the stuff while i carried her (in one arm) and the car seat in the other. I opened the van door and transfered the stuff in the car seat to my seat. i set the car seat down on the seat to put Jayda in. as i was putting her in her Binky dropped from her mouth to the ground. so i put her in turned around to pick up the Binky and bamb! she was out onto the asphalt. I about died. I was so mad at myself for just not buckling her in but it was not even a second and she had fallen. I picked her up, she was crying but not screaming. I was holding her and trying to see where she hit. On the right side of her head there was about in inch wide of a dent. I was sick to my stomach and told wayne "we have to go to the E.R right now!" Luckily we live 2 minutes from the hospital. we got there and i ran in holding Jayda. With tears starting to come i explained to them what happened. at this point a policeman/security guard came up to me and the first thing i thought was he is gonna ask me a bazillion questions and get mad at me. He put his hand on my shoulder and said in a soft humble voice. "she will be in the best hands here" He was so nice to us the whole time we were there and kept checking on us. come to find out he could speak Samoan so he really really liked Wayne! All the nurses and Dr.s were so kind to us. and Loved our little Jayda. by the way Jayda had stopped crying at this point and was all smiles. the lady checking us in said she doesn't look like she just hit her head. I was like ya but a look at this dent! lol Not that is was funny but thinking back on it its a little funny :) so they got us back and did a CT scan on her. I was worried that it was bleeding on her brain and that they would have to life flight us. Thankfully it was a skull fracture with no bleeding. They had us stay overnight so they could watch her and check her vitals and neurological things. She did great with all the tests they put her through. The only thing she hated was having to have an IV put in. It took 4 of us to hold her down and 4 tries to put it in. That girl can wiggle and move. Wayne wouldn't come in the room it broke his heart to have to see her like that. It was hard for me too but i knew it needed to be done.
she loved to chew on all the wires that she was hooked up to.

All our nurses were great and were loving holding her and playing with her. Its always nice to know they are in good care there.

Jayda has been such a trooper during all of this. crying for maybe 30 min total. and i think man she has a skull fracture and she is acting like nothing has happened. We are so grateful for all the prayers that were said for her and for our names being put in the temple. even Jayda's pediatrician went Monday morning and put it in the temple. We are so happy that everything turned out ok.

Wayne has been playing on the semi-pro team here in st.george. The Blitz ended the season 10-1. They played in the championship game and it actually got to be here in st.george. It has been so fun for us to go watch him. My boys love to go watch him and would keep yelling things to him like "Tackle him" and "Pancake him" (Malakai's favorite)Wayne just got back from playing in the All Star game and had an interception for a Touchdown! We are proud of our Daddy! can't wait till next season :)

We just got back from orem last night. we went up for my nephews baptism and for the 4th. Since Kenyas Bday is on the 5th we decided to have a little party for her at my aunts house with her swimming pool.
here are all the grandkids. btw We all stayed at krystal house including my parents. so yes it was a full house!
I attempted to make rainbow cupcakes and a rainbow cake. they turned out pretty cool looking.
We swam and had a BBQ for Kenyas birthday. She got a lot of princess things which she is totally into right now. She didn't have a nap the whole day and by the time we pulled out of Orem she was OUT!

We love this little girl. She has a funny personality and is a sweetie I can't believe she is two already!

we played basketball in the summer games this year. It was a lot of fun but wow it is not the same playing after you have had kids and are playing against some young teenage girls! LOL but over all is was great to play with my sisters and all our friends. We got the bronze medal too!
growing up we would always go to my Grandma and Grandpa Esplins house here in st. George. she has this ditch outside in the front yard. when we were little we would always play in the ditch, putting our feet in etc. so when we I saw my kids playing in the ditch it brought back a lot of fun memories for me.
here is the lake day. we had a cousins camp for the kids that don't get to go to lake powell. It was fun for the kids, except for the 3 that go swimmer itch. yuck!!

Holy Moly have i been gone forever!! Our Summer has been pretty busy so i haven't had the chance to sit down upload pictures and actually blog. so finally i have a little bit of time to catch up. Here are some pictures of my sweet Jayda baby! she is 7 months tomorrow! wow can't believe that. she is starting to scoot and army crawl and will get up on all 4's and rock back and forth so i know any day now she will start crawling. she is still flexible and loves to munch on her toes. I love the pic of her face when she is going for the bite of her foot.
we had our cousins here from out of town so we went out to the cabin and the lake the next day
oh my little spit fire kenya! she has to get tubes put in her ears on thurs. she has had to many ear infections and i guess fluid that is just stuck in her ear so the tubes will help it all drain. she is talking a lot so im excited to see how much more she will be able to talk once she has the surgery.

Livestock show 2010

My little sister had a pig in this years livestock show. We have been doing this for years now. I think we started when I was a sophomore in high school. we get pigs in Dec. and raise them. well actually my grandpa and dad would do the most work.lol but we would go down to the corral and walk them and shave and wash them before the big show. I Loved it! mostly because at the end (in April) you would get to sell your pig and usually make around 500$. kimmy is the only one doing it in our family now and my kids seem to love it too!!! They love to go with their grandpa Dale to feed the cows, ride horses and when the pigs are there to chase them. This year kimmys pig was VERY tame. as you can see it would let the kids sit on it. not for to long but enough that they thought it was pretty cool! I'm glad my kids get the chance to experience things like this. I hope that when they get older that they will get to raise pigs just like their momma!!

This little one is 5 months old.........what? its gone by fast but even more fast because she is such a good little girl. She loves to watch her brothers and sisters............free entertainment all day everyday! She has been such a blessing and we love her to pieces. She is rolling all over and is now sitting up! Gotta Love those BIG brown eyes!
The boys have been in sports camp the last 2 months. They love it and its fun to watch how good they are at only 3. Its pretty interesting but Malakai is way better and aggressive at football then Maddux but Maddux is way better at baseball then Malakai! Kenya even gets in on all the action. she pretty much has to do whatever the boys are doing! Look at her hit the ball!
Wayne has been playing for the semi-pro team here called the St.George Blitz! They are undefeated 6-0 and Wayne is a huge part of that. he plays defensive end and has already had a touchdown!! He does awesome and we love to go and watch!

My little brother Jonny left on his mission to Argentina last week. We have become really close to Jonny over the last year. Him and Wayne were best buddies. They worked together as SouthWest, played basketball together and settlers! ha(anybody out there play that game? we love it!) anywho my kids got really close with him to always asking where uncle "Nonny"as Kenya would say. here are some pictures of them saying their last goodbyes to him

Long-lasting love: Couples share stories of what makes their marriages work...
Little did Donald Joseph Esplin of St. George and Ruth Mary Reber Esplin of Santa Clara know that when they met in the seventh grade at Woodward Junior High School in St. George, that they would later be married and have six children and a large posterity.
They were both 13 years old when they met.
"I thought that girl from Santa Clara was the cutest thing I had ever laid my eyes on," Donald said as he took his wife's hand.
Squeezing Don's hand and looking at him, Ruth said, "And I thought the cowboy in the fancy boots was very good looking."
At their first class party at school, the girls ran in the school yard around the Mulberry trees with the boys chasing them.
"Don caught me and kissed me on the cheek," Ruth said. "After that it seemed that we were together all of the time."
Don was born and raised in St. George. Ruth was born in Ivins.
Their first real date was to meet at the movies rather than attend the class activity. There were two theaters. Ruth went to the Wadsworth Theater located on Main Street and Don waited at the Gaiety Theater - now the Electric Theater - on Tabernacle until it was time for the movie to start and he went inside thinking she must be in there somewhere.
After the movie they met at the corner and Don walked Ruth to the bus to return home.
During the summer months, they did not see much of each other. Don worked on the family cattle ranch 50 miles from St. George. They agreed to look at the North Star at 9:30 p.m. on the nights he was gone and think about each other.
"We did that for four years," Ruth said.
Their friendship became more serious in high school. They both graduated in 1950.
"I bought a ring and planned to give it to Ruth after the Thanksgiving rodeo in Santa Clara," Don said. "I wrapped it up in a dust cloth that came with my brand new Chevy car and stuffed it in the glove compartment to hide it."
The road to the rodeo was not paved and dusty. When they stopped to park, Ruth opened the glove compartment and pulled out the cloth to dust off the dashboard and the ring fell out in her lap. She was flabbergasted.
"We had talked about a ring but she wasn't expecting it that way," Don said. "It wasn't too romantic but before I could pop the question, she quickly blurted out 'Yes!' and put it on."
They were married on Dec. 21, 1950.
Their first child, a son, Larry, came in 1952. The next three years brought two more sons, Dale and Lee, and a daughter, Sue. Later they had two more sons, Jayme and Dave, making a total of six children, five boys and one girl.
The Esplins know life doesn't always work out as planned.
At 25, while getting ready for fall roundup, Don was shaping a horse shoe and part of the metal from the shoe chipped off and flicked into his left eye causing blindness in that eye.
Then Ruth, at 51, was diagnosed with cancer. She is a 27 year survivor.
"Of these experiences life became so much more meaningful," Ruth said. "Cancer changed our whole perspective and made us incredibly grateful for family, friends and all the little things we all take for granted. ... We count our blessings every day because we never know when one may be missing."
This year the Esplins will celebrate their 60th anniversary.
"It's love, unselfishness, faith, hope and devotion to family and our Heavenly Father," Don said about marriage. "It's saying I'm sorry and resolving a problem before retiring to bed. It's telling each other frequently how much you love them."
"It's remembering that lips need to be kissed at least twice a day, once in the morning and once at night," Ruth added. "The path that leads to happiness is so narrow that two cannot walk on it unless they become one.

These boys crack me up everyday. Maddux has been saying for a while when you correct him on anything is "Oh my mistake" where he picked that up i have no idea. Malakai likes to say "Oh son of gun" now i may or may not have said this a few times! LOL
Baby Jayda is a JOY to have! I love to snuggle and kiss her all day! She has been great just like Kenya was as a baby. We really have been blessed to have her and her sweet spirit.
This little girl......well big girl i should say is 1 years old going on 5! She is talking so much and saying sentences. One being "I don't like you mommy" if i make her mad! as much as I don't like her to learn these things from her brothers its too cute coming out of her mouth with her little voice!

We blessed Jayda on Jan. 17. The day of my little brothers farewell, and my little sisters 16th birthday. It was a great day with lots and lots of people in and out with great food. Just what we love! okay check this out. I wanted to see if K and J looked similar at this age. So this is Jayda and Kenya on their blessing days. I put who is who but you can see how much they look alike. In these pictures Kenya was 2 months Jayda is 6 weeks so pretty close in age.

ok soooo has anyone ever tried to get 4 kids under 3 years old to be still for pictures??? yowzers! I am surprised by the good ones we got of them looking. if it wasn't Kenya standing up asking to push the button on the camera it was the boys wrestling, or baby Jayda crying. But I guess it shows their little personalities and that is what matters. here are a couple of her newborn pics, I love them. and then some of the kids....enjoy

I love having a new baby in the house, especially during the holidays its been great. Kenya has been better than expected, (I was expecting the worse) but she has actually taken to the boys to hang out with, running and playing with them. Its actually pretty cute to see the three of them playing together. I definitely couldn't have made it through the week without the help of Wayne he made sure i didn't have to lift a finger! My family took the kids a few hours a day to let me relax so it was nice. Having Jayda has made my love grow a million times more. not just for her but for all my kids. kind of strange how that works but it makes me thankful for all of them that much more. I love being a mom,couldn't picture my life any other way.

It all started when I woke up Sunday morning with bad back pain. I figured it was back labor and put a heat pack on and that helped a ton but I was having contractions every 2-3 min sometimes 5 min apart. The majority of the contractions were in my lower back and killing but i couldn't really feel it in my tummy, only here and there. Well this lasts all day, after heat pack and 3 hot showers (heaven) I knew i needed to go to the hospital to at least get checked and if I wasn't in "active labor" to at least get some pain meds and go home. We got to labor and delivery at 7pm. got changed, they checked me I was at an 8!!!!!!!!!! What? are you serious? the nurse said did you want an epidural? YES I was planning on it, but she then said I really think that if we broke your water you would go fast, a few pushes and she would be out. an epidural might slow things down. She said by looking at you and you are already and 8 i know you can do this! Talk about encouragement, my nurses were the best! I decided to brave it and go for it, (still thinking in my head is this really happening? I swore I would always have an epidural!) So we call my mom and say hurry up and come, of course she thinks we are joking bla bla realizes we are not and comes. Dr. Rogers comes breaks my water, contractions get intense (still in my lower back like crazy) I pushed like i have never pushed in my life, through about 5 or 6 contractions and out comes my beautiful little Jayda! a total of 51 min after getting to the hospital! I still am kind of in shock it happened so fast, and no epidural. It was a crazy feeling to get to feel everything and feel her come out, but the drs were laughing saying I have had the experience of 3 different deliveries. a c-section with my boys, vbac with epidural and vbac without.I can see a little of all 3 kids in her

Meeting Malakai

Kenya is adjusting in her own way! lol She loves to say BABY whenever she sees her, but loves to give her tight squeezes, we are still working on being soft to the baby and know that once she gets adjusted she will do just fine. she has already slapped me and pinched my when i got home last night from the hospital. i think that was her way of saying don't leave me again!

When maddux first saw her he grabbed her little hand and said "Hi, My name is Maddux Alofipo!" It was too cute. It is fun to see how interested these boys are in having a new baby home, and how sweet they have been. So far things are going good, I swear this baby eats non stop, so that makes me very sore.....ouch. We love this little cutie and are glad she is here safe and sound!

37 weeks

so I am 37 weeks, dilated almost to a two, and about 50% effaced. I am not in to big of a rush for her to come, maybe that is what happens when its your 4th, but the weeks seem to go faster and faster which usually they slow down when you are almost due. There have been a few days here and there that I start thinking can i handle 4 kids under 3? and getting a little anxiety but for the most part, I am ready not to worried. I think once you start out with twins or multiples for that matter it doesn't phase you to have more. sorry for my rambling on but here are some pictures.

We went to Time Out For Women a couple weekends ago. It was a lot of fun. It was Friday night and half of Saturday so us girls got a hotel room for the night and the husbands had all the kids! It was fabulous :)

We went up north this last weekend for conference,byu game, and to hang out with family. When we were up there My Brother in Law Jeff took some pics of the kids. He isn't a "kid"photographer, but does a lot of outdoors/nature photos so he knows how to use his nice camera and edit etc. I think he did an AWESOME job.

Rodeo and Parade

One of my boys' favorite time of year is when the rodeo comes to town. They loved every minute we were there and looked cute in their outfits my dad bought them, boots and all! Even Kenya got in on the action. One of my moms friends sent her this outfit and we thought it would be perfect for the rodeo! Notice her belly shirt :) lol

It was cute to see Kenya waiving at everyone, and clapping for the cowboys!

They really enjoyed the parades and candy!

On the Saturday parade the boys got to ride with my mom on the breast cancer survivor truck. They weren't to thrilled they had to wear pink so they settled for pink bandannas!

If you haven't heard about Lowes build and grow program you should! The best part is that Its FREE and the kids Love it. They do these cool little projects that kids can do ....with supervision, and they hook you up with everything you need. Last Saturday Wayne took the boys their and they built these cute school buses. They give them these aprons , work goggles, and a certificate.the boys loved their goggles i think the most.......that would explain them wearing them all day even to grocery store.

These two are two peas in a pod! They are eachothers best friends and I couldn't be happier. we will find these boys talking up a storm to eachother and cracking up. Here they are with their lightning maqueen p.js my moms friend gave to them.

This is my baby Kenya, not for to much longer but for now i still think of her as my baby. Lately this little girl knows what she wants and how to get it. She is not afraid to hit her brothers and has even started to bite them....oh dear here we go. She can be so sweet at times and then when it comes to them taking a toy away from her or if she wants something they have she can be a beast. NO JOKE

Luckily she is a cutie and her dad will spoil her. We shall see how she reacts with a new baby, right now she loves little babies and wants to hug/squeeze them. She is learning so much so fast.right now if you ask her what her name is she will reply with a big grin "NENA"! She loves to point to peoples eyes, nose, and belly buttons. loves to be outside, loves Popsicles and could eat them all day everyday. She sure does make life fun!

That its another GIRL!!!! The dr. couldn't get a great view but enough that he is 70% sure. So He will do another ultrasound first of Sep. to make sure it is a girl..........or have us be really shocked and have it be a boy! For now we are planning on a little sister for Kenya!

San Diego 2009

Our vacation to San Diego was freakin awesome! Just what we needed. The drive down was great we had my 2 brothers and sister in with us which helped a lot to play with the kids. My parents flew down, and Heathers family met us down there as well. (we missed Krystals family) So we went to the Beach 2 days, Seaworld one day, which was awesome and enjoyed the weather. At Seaworld the kids loved all the rides and the dolphins and whales shows were pretty dang cool. How the heck does that fat of a fish jump so freakin high!!!!

ahhhhhhh don't you love this temple!!!!!!!!!! It is BEAUTIFUL!! if you haven't been go, it is well worth seeing. We actually got to go and do baptisims for the dead, and the boys did some sealings. My little bro served his mission here spanish speaking so we got to meet a lot of the people he taught and loved. We got to be at a baptisim of a little 9 year old boy that Eric actually got to teach a while back. and attend a spanish speaking church......ya i couldn't understand a thing lol but it was fun. We met his mission president and wife. they were awesome, just what you expect a mission president and wife to be like. The trip went by fast, the kids all did great and we had a good time. I think we need to do this more often.....anyone else want to come next time??!!!!!

We had a great 4th of July up in orem. We have a tradition to go to the Hot air balloons early in the morning. The kids love it. Kenya was to cute in her little tutu running around all over, and the boys kept saying "I love them" (the fireworks).

We did Kenyas 1st Birthday party in Orem because we go up there for the 4th of July. We had it at my aunts church and had a blast. Some of Waynes family got to come since it was up north also. We had a bounce house with a slide....the hit of the party, a pinata, and BBQ! My mom made the cake. It was a mickey pan but she turned it into Minnie Mouse. We had an awesome time, and are so thankful for this little girl. Words cannot express how much she means to our family. I love seeing her with her daddy. He picks her up and is a total "softy" with her. totally different from him and the boys. He calls her his princess and it definitly fits. She has been nothing but perfect for us since she was born. lets hope this next baby takes after her!! We love you Baby Kenya!

SURPRISE

Last week we got some surprising news. First of all I have been nursing Kenya, so i basically had no period. maybe like twice since she was born. So for a while now I have been feeling nauseous, but it was right around the time the flu was going around so I thought thats what it was. Then I was hungery all the time and I could smell anything and everything. So last Monday I took a pregnancy test, and was at the Dr.'s by Friday to show me this............
A sweet little baby who wanted to surprise us!!!!!! I am 14 weeks already. This is a picture of the little arm and hand. So NOOOO this was not planned, I was thinking of having a baby in the spring time so this is earlier than expected but there is nothing like seeing a little babys arms moving and legs kicking away in the ultrasound. I loved every second that I could peek in on our little babe. I'm very greatful for the oppurtunity I have to be a mom to these sweet kids of mine and for baby #4 to come join the party!!!

Playing football for the St. George Blitz!! This is a semi-pro team here in St. George, that Greg Crowshaw is the coach of. Wayne wasn't planning on playing but when coach cro came over and asked him if he would play....any of you that know Wayne knows how much he loves football, So he said Yes and he has been doing AWESOME! Not to mention that my boys are in heaven watching him play, which I and mostly wayne is thankful for. They really enjoy going to games and are very good and watch...... I didn't think that 2 1/2 year olds could do that. Anyways "Go Daddy Wayne", "Tackle them" as Maddux and Malakai like to say!!

Uncle Eric

So My little brother got back from his mission last Tuesday. What an exciting day it was. I am sure some of you have seen this video on my sisters blogs but I wanted to post it on here because it captures my mom perfectly. She was so excited to see her first son come home. It cracks me up to watch it. every person that walked in before Eric she was like, "Is there a Missionary on that plane"? lol anyways the boys have adjusted great, Maddux better then Malakai of course. Maddux had Eric hold him for a while and he just laid his head right on his shoulder, it was so cute. Malakai took a few days not to be shy around him but now asks all the time where uncle Eric is. Its great to have him home, and now we are excited for Uncle Jonny to get his Mission call!

ps Kenya took her first steps over the weekend! There is somthing so cute about when they learn how to walk and balance....I LOVE IT!

Will be home in 3 DAYS!!!!!! We are sooooo excited to see him. My boys can't stop talking about how uncle Eric is coming home on a big airplane!! They were 8 months old when he left, so i know they really don't remember him, but we have shown them pictures of him the whole 2 years so they know who he is in pictures! Eric will come home to 4 new nieces! He says its still weird to think that he hasn't met them yet, but Im sure they will love him. We have been doing a lot around my moms house for him to come home and feel comfortable so I hope he likes the changes. It will also be a great reunion for my mom and him! Eric has not seen any pictures of her with no hair, or her going through chemo for that matter so it will be good for my mom and him to spend some time together. My little brother Jonny is getting ready to go on his mission so we will be getting one home and sending the other one off soon! for now we cant wait for Tuesday!

So its official, Kenya can crawl! I knew this day was coming sooner than later......darn. Now i find everything in her mouth, I swear she can find things that I can't even see.

We had a very fun Christmas eve and Christmas day. Krystal was here with her family and when the cousins get together it can get a little crazy! we missed Heather and her family they were in Arizona this year.

Wayne has a few hats he wears and the boys were always asking to wear them, so we decided to get them their own. I think they look really cute in them

So funny story..... They called all the primary kids up to sing, next thing I know Malakai starts following them up and Maddux saw him and ran right up with him. I didn't know how well they would do being up in front of everybody and they are still in nursery. They were so dang cute up there and looked so big. They did great singing and you would have thought they were in primary already.

Saturday was waynes last home game. The paper decieded to do this cool article on him, and take pics of him and the twins.....check it out

For most of us, college was a hectic time. We were student-athletes. Or student-journalists. Or student-workers. Or just plain students.
It wasn't easy, we knew that. True, we made room in our schedule to pal around with our buddies. We had girlfriends and boyfriends. But we never seemed to budget enough time for sleep.
If you're Wayne Alofipo, Dixie State's nose guard, you don't have to time to even think about sleeping.
DSC's only fifth-year senior - or fourth-year senior, for that matter - will play his final home contest today at noon against Western Washington, and be honored with the team's 14 other upperclassmen in a pre-game ceremony. Yet while other players will be accompanied by their parents, Alofipo will be joined by the family helped produce in St. George.
Alofipo and his wife, Tara, are parents of 2-year-old twin boys Malakai and Maddux, and daughter Kenya, 17 weeks old.
The little ones sure keep him busy.
"Work, school, family, football, it's a lot to juggle and try to balance out," Wayne said after practice on Tuesday. In two weeks, he'll go back to work at Southwest Behavioral Health Center. "I've got to credit my wife. To be able to do what I do, you have to have a good wife, someone who will let you do what you love. She knows I love football. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be able to play."
Imagine this: You've just started fall camp on a team making the transition to Division II ball, with a new coaching staff and almost complete turnover in personnel - then your beloved gives birth to twins.
Wayne understands some wives would demand their husbands spend every spare minute of time helping around. Raising one newborn, let alone two at the same time, is a challenge. Tara never wavered. She knew football was important to Wayne, and with the help of her parents, Karen and Dale Esplin of Bloomington, Tara was able to care for Malakai and Maddux while allowing Wayne to focus on the 2006 football campaign.
"I know wives who say, 'No, you've got to quit football.' But she's pushing for it," he said. "She was really pushing for me to be a role model for my kids, just the opportunity for them to see me play.
"We had eight road games that season. I was gone every week. Without that help I would have really been in trouble."
There was some uncertainty as to where Wayne was going to ply his trade before 2006. He said he met with BYU coaches, who wanted him on the defensive line, but a scholarship offer wasn't definitive, so he elected to remain at the school he started out at in 2004.
A 2000 graduate of West High School in Salt Lake City, Alofipo served an LDS Church mission and worked for two years before joining Greg Croshaw's junior college team in 2004 as a linebacker. A knee injury in Week 2 led to a medical redshirt, but he was back at it in 2005 - even returning an interception for a score against the Ogden Rhino-Raiders.
However, a second knee surgery - the other one acted up on him - at the end of the season led to significant weight gain. When Ron Haun took over at DSC, he suggested Alofipo use his 305 pounds to clog up the middle in their 3-4 defense.
Since then, he's thrived, attracting double and sometimes triple teams as he opens up lanes for the team's middle linebackers to attack.
"It starts up front with that nose guard," said DSC defensive coordinator Ken Schmidt. "If you get knocked off the ball, your linebackers can't flow and scrape. Wayne's a physical guy and controls the line of scrimmage. which gives a guy like Teddy Owens a chance to make plays."
Schmidt lauds the cerebral portion of Alofipo's game.
"He's smart. He'll read screens," Schmidt said. "Last Saturday he slid out there on the screen and the quarterback didn't have a place to throw. I think we got a sack out of it. He's got a great feel for the ball."
Wayne is set to graduate this spring with a degree in business. He plans to get a master's degree in accounting and has a few business plans he'd like to see through.
His dream, though, is to coach high school football. His time at DSC is a big reason why.
"Honestly it's been the perfect college experience for me," he said. "My last three years with this coaching staff, I've learned more about football and life than I'd ever learned from any other coaching staff - and I've had some good coaches and have been playing football ever since I was 8 years old."
"It's a great feeling when you come to a program where the coaches actually care about you as an individual, and your life after football.
"We haven't won much, but I would take three years of losing with this coaching staff than any other one. That's the honest truth. My first year I went 9-2. I would take three years of losing over that first year of winning."

Wayne had an awesome game and we are so proud of him.

Old School hair cuts.......and a Surprise Party

So I was cutting my boys hair the other day and thought hmmmm let's see how steps would look in their hair.

On Sunday we decided to throw my mom a surprise party. She is finally done with chemo and radiation so we wanted to celebrate. Her and my dad went up north for the weekend so we had her house all ready and decorated when she got home. We had a wonderful dinner and dessert!

As you can see my mom was definitely surprised! We had a great time and thank everyone who came. We are hoping the "rough" times are over with for my mom and she can get back to her normal life.

My mom and dad brought these little rocking horses for my boys.....as i mentioned before in a post, my boys have been obsessed with horses and cowboys so you can see how happy they were.

Kenya is 3 months old already, sheesh does time fly or what. She has been the best baby and i can't thank her enough!! lol she has made the transition to 3 kids easier than expected. Wayne would always tell me if we ever had a girl that she would be a good baby...........I thought ya right one of my kids, but this little one is and its so nice.

so my sister krystal found these san diego shirts at old navy for cheap, and since my little bro. Eric is on a mission there she got all the girls some. We decided to take some pics and had to throw in a couple fun ones!!
As you can see my mom is doing great. she has finished chemo, and has 8 radiation treatments left....GO MOM!
Not much else going on here, enjoying the last bit of the nice weather before its cold...............i hate to be cold. Lets get together and do mothers group while its still nice, Deal?

The Rodeo and Time Out For Women

Rodeo- This was the first year we took the kids to the rodeo and they LOVED every bit. I was worried how two 2 year olds and a baby would do, but they did awesome the whole night. We stayed till the end and had so much fun!

Time Out For Women- We went to TOFW in Las Vegas over the weekend and had a blast! It was me, my 2 sisters, my mom, my cousins and my 3 aunts. Here we are with Hilary Weeks. Her and my mom have become friends the last few years. We had such a great "Time out" the speakers were awesome, Kenya was great the whole time and just being together was wonderful. TOFW is coming to St. George next year, I highly recommend it.

On Sunday we had Kenya blessed and she did great the whole day and was quiet the whole blessing (I had my fingers crossed for that one!) My dad said that she was smiling at him the whole blessing kind of like she knew what was going on. Pondering about her big day! lol

Thanks to all our family and friends who came and who travelled to be here for this special day. It was filled with lots of laughing, hanging out and yummy food. A big thanks to my Grandma Ruth who took Kenya and I out shopping for our dresses, She is always making sure we are taken care of when it comes to getting dressed up :)

Lately.............................

My little Kenya is not so little anymore. She is starting to get chubby, and i love it. My boys never really got chubby or got the cute chubby cheeks, but this girl is going to out do both her brothers if she keeps going at this rate :) Kenya got thrush, thus giving it to me or visa versa (not sure how it got started) so we ended up going to the Dr. Kenya weighed in at 12 pounds this time. I am glad to know she is getting enough to eat because sometimes you never know if they get enough when you nurse. anyhow we both got medicine so hopefully we got it taken care of.Kenya is starting to smile a lot now when you talk to her. Its really fun how alert she is, and she is starting to "talk" cooing at us. Its really fun to see her change, but sad all at the same time. She is definitely out of the newborn stage.

during the day when Kenya naps i will usually put her on her tummy. Now i know what everyone is thinking ahhhh don't put your baby on her tummy its dangerous. I only do it during the day when i can constantly watch her, and check her to make sure she is OK. She sleeps so dang good on her tummy, and i don't want her head to go flat in the back. At night though i bundle her up tight and switch her from side to side and on her back. She has been pulling a 5 hour stretch at night which has helped me get some extra sleep.

Football season has started. We found these helmets at the D.I a while ago. The boys are obsessed with them wearing them everywhere. They wont even take them off to watch t.v

they love to go watch daddy at practice, and they can hardly wait till its over so they can have their turn to go out on the field and play!

I am copying my sisters with this pic. Every month They would take pics of their kids next to a doll or somthing so that they can compare how much they grow from month to month. This is when is was 1 month old next to a stuffed animal (the best i could find) So from month to month i will take a picture of her next to this to watch her grow!

p.s at Kenyas 2 week appt, she weighed 9Ibs 6 oz, well my boys had their 2 year check up on Monday so when we were seeing the Dr. i put her on the scale to see how much she weighed and she was 11 pounds at 4 weeks......She loves her milk !! Love her :)

On Sat. Aug 2 my boys turned 2! I cant believe that two years ago i had 2 babies at one time, because i compare it to now with one baby and i think how did i do it. one baby is alot easier,especially during the night!! I am so greatful though that these boys chose to come to our family together. they are so much fun and truly are best friends.

Well things here at the Alofipo house have been going pretty good. It definitly was an adjustment to get used to 3 but we are getting the hang of it. We have been blessed with a calm, good baby!!!!!!!!!! She rarely cries, even during the night when its time to eat she will just make the grunting noises and it wakes me up. The boys are really sweet to her and are actually good helpers. They get me diapers, wipes, boppy etc. Its been nice that they understand what i need and they are willing to get it. We just got home from up north. We went to Lagoon on Friday and had a blast, the kids did awesome and it was very enjoyable. I was worried about taking a 2 1/2 week nursing baby but it wasn't that bad. We had a pavillion so i could go to nurse and the rest of the time she just slept. anyways here are some updated pics of her, she definitly has changed and keeps changing......i can't really see me in her more her dad and the boys but will shall see. One thing that i love it when i bathe her and get her hair wet, her hair has little curls!!!! oh so dang cute. I love it, i will have to take a pic of it and post it.

I just wanted to do a quick post. Things have been going great, besides being sore :)! Maddux has had the hardest time with me not being available ALL the time now, but he is doing better. Auntie Heather made it in time to see her be born. Krystal had left 2 days earlier so we were bummed she missed it.

I don't know if you can see or not, but the first comment the nurses made when she came out was "Look at those eyelashes", she definitly has some long pretty ones!

Well she is finally here and she is Awesome! I love to just hold her and stare at her, and to just take it in that she was inside of me and that we created this beauty. My mom, Heather, and Wayne were in the delivery room with me. My dad was there just kind of standing halfway in the room halfway out. He wanted to be close but not exactly in the room! :) We are still here at the hospital, they want to make sure her jaundice levels are ok so we will stay the night tonite and go home tomorrow. I wanted to post some pics so you could see her i will post again tomorrow when we get home about the whole labor story. We are glad she is here and that our boys have done great with her. anyways thanks to all of you for all the love and support we appreciate it.

Baby Girl (soon to be named) is here! Tara started having contractions about every 1-3 minutes about 2 a.m. We went to the hospital about 5 a.m a few hours later of steady contractions they broke her water, she got an epidural and felt a lot better. She was at a 6 and an hour later boom she was a 10 and they could see her head. She pushed through about 5 contractions and out she came! 8 pounds 13 oz, 20 inches long. She has a lot of dark hair and looks more like Malakai but has some of Maddux features. They both are doing great, and tara was relieved to have a vbac. (she had a c-section with the boys) She will post pics asap but wanted to share the good news!!!

After diligently searching for a couple weeks, my husband found this great van for a great deal! The family was being sent to Japan, the husband is in the military so they had to sell it. Its a 2004 Toyota Sienna and a very nice upgrade from our last van, there is A lot more room, plus it can have an additonal seat inbetween the two captain seats so it can seat 8. Anyways we are really happy to have it and that it worked out great for us to get it. (Wayne had to fly to Cali to pick it up). With our growing family there are only a few options out there for cars to buy that just fit. I guess I will be the "soccer mom"!

1st- Car seat cover. I found this on ebay from a lady that owns her own boutique. She sold it to me for 50 bucks, brand new! Its really cute, and I really like the soft pink minky fabric, where she will be buckled in.

2nd- My cute diaper bag. My friend Holly went to Hawaii a few weeks ago and brought this back to me, along with some of the cutest Hawaiian outfits for baby and the boys! which i will have to take some pics of later. anyways i was trying to find a cute diaper bag online but couldn't decide. She actually found this at a walmart there in Hawaii!!
This shows the pockets on the outside, and on the inside there are a few pockets to hold things. Anyways the countdown begins till i will have 3 kids.........................crazy. But we are excited for her to get here.

I was going through my pictures on my camera and thought i would post some of these fun pictures. The first few are of the other night. We were at my moms house and somehow my boys found suckers. One for each hand. The funny thing is that no one knew where they had gotten them from.............There is no telling what two little boys can do when they work together! Don't they look so proud?!

This on is a cute one of the boys, they love to sit on the piano and hang out. Here they are holding hands which they both usually like to do.

I couldn't resist posting these of Maddux. He insisted that he put his own shorts on, after he got his on (both legs in one) he proceeded to put on Malakai's shorts the same way.

We went to the splash park on Wed. All the kids had a blast! They loved to fill up the water bottles and then dump them out on themselves . The other kids in here are my sisters. Krystal and heathers. We also went to my brothers graduation. He is the last one to graduate from Pine View, Kimmy is going to have to go to the new high school, which she isn't to happy about! oh well. we also found these football helmets at the d.i. and my boys wear them a lot, and try to tackle eachother. I will have to take some better pics of them doing this and post it. Its pretty funny to watch them.

Things we've been up too

so here is some pics of things we have been up too. My bro and sis had the 4h Livestock show where they sold their pigs. We took the boys over and they loved loved loved the sawdust. as you can see they acted like it was sand! They would throw it in the air, roll in it, put it in their hair etc... It kept them busy. Wayne and kimmy took the boys to that new place Jump n Jacks, and they had so much fun! It is pretty cool, and really big with a lot of bounce houses/slides. We have been spending a lot of time at my moms lately and the boys have so much fun there. Here they are helping mow the lawn, and riding around in their car. I also had another ultrasound yesterday, it is for sure a girl.........sigh of relief! But she is already a big girl, they think she is already 5 Pounds!!!!! I am only 33 1/2 weeks along can you believe it. so basically we are taking it week by week but most likely she will be here sooner than later. we are thinking around my 37 week mark. i will keep everyone updated.

So these are my latest projects. I found these plain wooden boxes at wal mart for 3 bucks each, so i got some scrap book paper and went to work with the modge- podge! nothing to fancey but i thought i could use them for baby girls room.
And this is my other project. I have been making baby girl braclets! Im not that good at it but im sure my baby girl won't care!! I still have to trim them up a bit but i got 3 of them done at my 3 hour glucose test...............gag me, but i did pass!! Anyways thought i would share, if anyof you like to do projects let me know.......lets get together!!!

so this week my moms hair has started to come out :( Monday night she saw a balding spot and it freaked her out, and she started having some anxiety about the whole thing. that night we decided to shave the boys heads including, jonny my bro, wayne and my dad! It helped my mom to see everyone doing that. It is now Thursday and most of her hair in the back is gone, she told me that hopefully tomorrow she will have the courage to let us buzz it. She actually wants my little sister to do it if she will. Kimmy is having a hard time seeing my mom loose her hair. Poor girl she is only 14 and doesn't remember having to go through it with my grandparents so this is all to new to her. my mom thinks it will help her if she will do it. anyways here are the boys during the process. They were actually pretty good and stayed still.

This is also what we have been up too! Swimming! we got this little pool brand new on craigs list! AWESOME!! My boys love it! anyone that needs something to do for there kids on a sunny day bring them over!! We also went swimming, when heather was here. the boys sure do love and protect there cousin kalia! Its pretty exciting to see how they react to her, I know they will do the same to there little sister!

We also went to the kite festival, Wayne had to help at a booth for college. We didn't fly kites but the boys sure had fun bouncing away in the bounce house!

In other news......I am 30 weeks pregnant........crazy how fast its going by. I am going to have a ultrasound in a couple weeks, they want to measure her to see if she is still measuring earlier than my due date...that would be nice if they would change it but will see. Oh and wayne wants them to make sure its a girl. He thinks with his luck she will come out a boy!! lol it wouldn't be a bad thing if that happend, but he wants to be 100% sure its a girl! I had my boys at 37 1/2 weeks and they were 7Ibs and 6. 9oz.........ya good size boys for being early so im pretty sure if i had to have her early she would be good size!

Well i can't believe that it has been 1 year from today, that we took my little brother Eric to the MTC. He is now at his one year mark, and has one year to go! My boys were only 8 months old. and will be 2 1/2 when eric gets home. They loved him so much, he was so good to them, and they won't even know who he is when he gets home....crazy!
(we try and show them pics of him but its just not the same) Anyways Eric has changed so much in the last year, but for the better. He is such a great missionary. He is serving in the San Diego spanish speaking mission. They are having a lot of success out there, in fact they had 8 baptisims last week! We are so proud of him for choosing to go on a mission, and being very obiedient. When we found out everything about my mom we didn't know what to do about letting Eric know. My mom didn't even want to tell him, as you can imagine she didn't even want to stress him out. We talked about it and everyone told my mom that she needs the Faith and prayers of a missionary. My dad called and talked to the mission pres. and he said that Eric is a strong enough missionary that he knew he could handle it and that he would tell him that night. The next day when we got erics email he definitly was in shock, he really didn't know what to say, as was the case with us when we found out. well the week passed and when he wrote home again he was so positive! it was great for my mom to hear. he even said don't worry about him, that it never even crossed his mind to come home, but he was excited to talk to us on mothers day! I definitly think our family has been blessed by Erics service and know that there is no better place for him to be then on his mission!
